Terms of use.
The service
Engraive converts images into DXF outlines and into 2.5D relief models for CNC machines, and can generate source images for you. It is provided as-is: we do not warrant that a trace is correct, that a model is machinable, or that a file is safe to cut. Check the output before you put it on a machine. That is what the overlay and overhang views are for.
What it costs
Nothing. There is no subscription, no allowance and no charge for any part of Engraive: tracing, relief modelling, uploading and both exports are free and need no account.
Generating images
Image generation runs on an API key you supply, from a provider you have your own account with. That account is between you and them: they bill you for what you generate, they set the rate limits, and their terms govern what you may ask for and what you may do with what comes back. We do not resell their service, mark it up, or guarantee it is available.
Your content
You keep every right you have in the images you upload and the files you export, and you may use them commercially. You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. We store your content to provide the service and do not use it to train anything.
Acceptable use
Do not use Engraive to produce material that is illegal, that infringes someone else's rights, or that is designed to harm. We may suspend an account that does.
Retention
We keep your images while your account exists. An account may have its stored images removed after 12 months of inactivity, with notice to the address on it first. Images made without an account are held in a rolling window per browser, so the oldest fall away as new ones arrive — sign in if you want them kept.
Changes
If these terms change materially we will say so on this page and by email before the change takes effect for you.
